A little more knowledge is a wonderful thing

I am so excited to share all I learned at an amazing all day master class I took in the beginning of March with Dr. Mauricio de Maio, an internationally renowned plastic surgeon from Brazil. He has lectured throughout the world and the last stop of his recent travels was in New York City to speak to the top injectors of fillers in the area, so I was one of a select few. The class was organized by Allergan, the makers of Voluma™.

Dr. De Maio shared his wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for creating a natural look in patients, stressing the importance of studying and analyzing each patient individually and finding the key issues to be addressed to restore, rebalance and rejuvenate each individuals appearance. His approach resonated with my own and I intend to incorporate these latest techniques with newly FDA - approved filler. Voluma™, which can be injected into the mid-cheek to achieve a smoother contour and a more youthful appearance.
