Get to Know Dr. Grodberg

I was raised in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, just outside New York City, where my parents instilled in me a love of education, culture, and medicine. My father, a respected hematologist-oncologist at Englewood Hospital, introduced me early to the medical community—taking me on rounds and encouraging me to volunteer and work in the labs. His compassionate care for patients continues to inspire how I connect with my own. My mother, a physical therapist, and my sisters have also been strong role models.

At Swarthmore College, I was fortunate to be surrounded by brilliant, ambitious women whose drive and friendship still fuel me today. Their example reinforced my belief in striving for excellence, embracing diversity, and making a positive impact. It was also at Swarthmore that I met my husband, a brilliant lawyer and my greatest supporter. His encouragement, perspective, and unwavering belief in me have been invaluable both in life and in building my practice.

Outside of medicine, I’m passionate about fitness—running, hiking, Peloton rides, skiing, and long walks with my dog, Bella. I’ve also grown to love baseball, especially cheering on my son as he pursues Division 1 athletics.

Why Dermatology

Dermatology fascinates me because our skin is not only our largest organ but also central to our self-image and overall health. I value the opportunity to treat both medical conditions and aesthetic concerns, helping patients look and feel their best. With research and technology constantly evolving, I am energized by the innovative treatments I can bring to my practice.

Aesthetic dermatology, in particular, requires both medical expertise and an artistic eye. I take a hands-on, individualized approach—drawing on my knowledge of anatomy, proportion, and balance to create natural, beautiful results. My dedicated team shares my patient-first philosophy, and together we strive to deliver exceptional care.

The most rewarding part of my work is the trust my patients place in me. Each relationship is a privilege, and I am grateful to help so many extraordinary people feel confident in their own skin.
