HOW DOES THE EXILIS ULTRA™ WORK?

“The Exilis has two hand pieces, the smaller is used on the face, neck and décolleté for skin tightening and the larger is used on the body to destroy fat cells and tighten loose skin. The Exilis ULTRA™ achieves this by heating the under-surface of the skin, which causes collagen remodeling. The collagen remodeling is what causes the tightening effect. When the energy is placed deeply, fat cells can be destroyed. When placed more superficially in the dermis, skin tightening occurs. The larger hand piece, used on the body to melt fat, cools the top layers of the skin so that the heat is delivered to the deeper fat layer. Although you may see immediate results after each treatment session, the major portion of the clinical improvement is evident at 3 MONTHS following the LAST treatment.”

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR A TREATMENT?

“You are not required to do anything special prior to your treatment session. Being well hydrated helps the radio frequency work so drink plenty of water prior to your treatment, especially if you are having a body treatment. We also encourage light physical activity after your treatment to help increase lymphatic drainage. Men undergoing facial treatments must shave the morning of the session. You may continue all medications, supplements and vitamins during your treatment period.”

DOES IT HURT?

“There is no pain associated with your treatment so no anesthetic is required. There is no down time other than a brief period of redness and minor swelling so you can return to your daily routine almost immediately.”

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

“The recommended application to see optimum results for the face and neck is 3 sessions at 10 to 14 day intervals, while the recommended body regimen is 4 to 6 sessions at 7 to 14 day intervals. The Exilis ULTRA™ system allows a very precise depth of penetration for a custom treatment tailored for each individual.”

HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?
