“Welcome to the Winter 2014 issue of our quarterly newsletter, filled with all the news that will help you keep your skin healthy and beautiful on an ongoing basis."

Yes, the weather is crazy. The temperature moves from hot to cold in a matter of hours, so one day feels like Fall and the next is freezing. Plus we move from overheated interiors to chilly exteriors, which can wreak havoc on the skin. And then there’s time. The aging face isn’t just about addressing lines and wrinkles, but rather pulling things up, filling things out, restoring contours and bolstering weakening underlying support, sort of like fixing a couch that begins to sag in the middle. Happily, my arsenal of fillers is ever expanding. Let’s talk about some of the new as well as the tried-and-true fillers that can make a stunning difference, especially when used in concert with other procedures and treatments. SCULPTRA®, composed of poly-L-lactic acid, which stimulates collagen formation and restores volume on three levels—deep structure, filling and surface irregularities, like acne scarring. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for new collagen to form, but lasts for several years.
VOLUMA, the newest filler in our arsenal, provides more immediate results to larger areas and has a life span of two years. Voluma is a very supportive filler and like JUVEDERM and RESTYLANE, Voluma is composed of Hyaluronic Acid (HA). Voluma works particularly well restoring volume and creating lift to the cheeks, while Juvederm and Restylane are better suited for filling defined areas, like nasolabial folds and in the the hollows below the eyes.
Enjoy 10% off your first syringe of Voluma (read all about what it can do in the text above).
